Parks & People Foundation is recruiting high-school students for the Branches School-Year Program (Branches)!  Branches is a paid after-school environmental education internship. Branches interns explore green careers, improve public parks, build green spaces, try outdoor sports/recreation, and conduct urban environmental science. Interns will also gain essential life skills for the next phase of their lives, including job-readiness skills that can be applied to any career field. Branches is an opportunity to work as part of a team, explore potential career paths, gain leadership skills, and accomplish hands-on conservation work that will have a lasting positive impact on Baltimore’s communities and environment.

During the school-year interns typically work Monday-Thursday, 4:00 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. as well as some weekends and when school is not in session.

Parks & People Foundation (PPF) encourages you to apply to the Branches Program if you are ready to make a positive impact on the environment, work outside, learn valuable life skills, and get paid. Additional requirements:

– Must be currently enrolled in high-school
– Must be at least 14 years of age
– Must be available to attend the program after-school, Monday-Thursday, October – June
