Liberty Elementary School Sports Park

Liberty Elementary School Sports Park is a community hub for sports, recreation, and community gatherings located in Central Forest Park. Overgrown by weeded trees and tree canopies, the current condition is a safety hazard not equipped for sports events and extracurricular activities. Liberty Elementary School’s new state-of-the-art, multi-sport playing field will include grading, landscaping, field infrastructure, fencing, ball netting, and access improvements. This redevelopment project and other urban green spaces benefit mental health and how students and families manage life stressors, undergo self-discovery, learn, engage in communities, and thrive.
