As of 5:00 pm, March 23, 2020, the Parks & People Foundation offices will be closed in accordance with Governor Hogan’s executive order to close all non-essential business across the state of Maryland. Our staff will continue to work remotely ensuring we are prepared to resume our programming when deemed safe to do so by state and local officials.
Moreover, because the Parks & People Foundation takes the health and well-being of our youth participants, volunteers, and staff very seriously, our current Youth Program activities have been suspended until Baltimore City Public Schools resume and our programs can be run in accordance with all city and state guidelines.
We are still planning for SuperKids Camp 2020 – registration will remain open here.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Youth Programs, please do not hesitate to contact Alicia Copeland, Youth Programs Director, at our office 410-448-5663;116 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this very serious situation.

Programs with Purpose
Stand in the middle of a park. Close your eyes and listen for a few minutes.
What you hear is the collective energy of hundreds of people gathering to learn, share, and grow.
Families, students and teammates leave with confidence, new friendships and new skills.
Making An Impact In Our Communities
In Progress: Darley Gateway Park
Darley Gateway Park is a .75 acre green space that for over two decades, had been vacant, only being used as a dumping ground and source of blight.
In Phase 1, amenities such as a community stage, new seating, a lush lawn for recreational opportunities, and stormwater planters and a bosque of trees that provides shade to new benches and chess tables were added. Planning for Phase 2 is underway.
SAVE THE DATE!
The 10th Annual Parks & People Foundation Picnic in the Park will be held Friday, September 25, 2020!
