Gelston Park: A Butterfly Garden to Honor Our Nation’s Veterans

On December 10, we celebrated the mid-project groundbreaking of a butterfly garden at Gelston Park with The Edmondson Village Community Association and in partnership with the City of Baltimore, Department of Planning’s INSPIRE program. This flowering butterfly garden is dedicated to veterans of the armed forces and, when complete, will be a place of quiet reflection and beauty.
