We are thrilled to announce our next project! A vacant lot in West Baltimore’s Rosemont community will soon host a pilot urban farm project from Parks & People, the state of Maryland, Baltimore City, the Maryland Institute College of Art and Coppin State University. The farm will grow indigo, beets, onions, marigolds and Black-eyed Susans to make natural dyes for artistic, educational, and commercial use.

“It will be transformative for the surrounding community in such a creative way,” said Lisa Schroeder, CEO of Parks & People.
