🌳✨ Wonder in the Park was a magical success! 🎭🌿

Our 9-acre campus came alive at our latest mico event with a fairy terrarium building station and an enchanting performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream by the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s Shakespeare Beyond team. With 275 attendees, we raised nearly $700 to support Parks & People’s mission of improving Baltimore through green space and education. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event unforgettable!

40 years of Parks & People

We’re not done celebrating 40 years of Parks & People. Since 1984, Parks & People has worked to improve Baltimore through green space and education. Our work focuses on Baltimore’s Black Butterfly, majority-Black neighborhoods which have had little or no access to healthy green spaces.
