The new Salem Street Community Park

The new Salem Street Community Park replaces blighted vacant lots and breathes fresh life into the heart of this block. The new park includes: flat green space for gathering and recreation, flowering trees and landscaping, a street mural, walking paths, boulders for seating, and fencing.

Salem Street Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

In April 2022, Parks & People, partners, funders, and community members gathered to cut the ribbon on the completed Salem Street Park.
